Arkasa Village

Arkasa is located sixteen kilometers from the capital of Karpathos on the Southwest side. Built on two hills overlooking the sea with its green nature, stunning beaches and important historic monuments. Visitors can find ruins of the ancient city Arkesia, from which took the name of the village at the rocky peninsula of Palaiokastro. In the same area are also found the remains of Saint Anastasia church dated from the 5th BC. Arkasa is a developing in tourism area with hotels and rooms to rent while there are also many taverns and bars. The village has to offer many beaches for swim while Just a few kilometers outside Arkasa is the fishing settlement Finiki with the graphic fish port with many restaurants selling fresh fish.
